Welcome to the Royal Air Force Yacht Club, combining a rich maritime heritage with outstanding facilities and a vibrant boating community.

Set in an enviable riverside location in the heart of Hamble, the Royal Air Force Yacht Club offers exceptional access to the Solent and some of the finest sailing waters on the South Coast. Whether you’re planning a day sail around the Isle of Wight, exploring the coastline, or venturing further afield, RAFYC provides the perfect base for life on the water.

While we are proud of our RAF heritage, membership is open to everyone. We welcome sailors, motor boaters, watersports enthusiasts and those who simply enjoy being part of a friendly waterside community. Our aim is to create an environment where members can enjoy their boating as much ashore as afloat, with a relaxed atmosphere, excellent facilities and an active social calendar throughout the year. Members benefit from a wide range of services, including moorings, launch facilities, storage, maintenance berths, parking, showers, laundry facilities, a fully stocked bar and catering. Through our affiliation with Hamble River Sailing Club, members and their families can also access RYA training courses at affiliate rates. Beyond our membership offering, our clubhouse accommodation and event facilities are available to all, making RAFYC a unique destination for boating, social events and unforgettable riverside experiences.
